I always say Im gonna be back on, but then I go ahead and leave you all for months without a word.
Well, Im sorry I haven't been posting any art, but like I may have said in a journal-my memory is hazy so Im not sure if I mentioned it before- my computer, my baby that I had for most of my life, my FIRST computer had passed away long ago. :,(
So eventually, I ended up getting this nice laptop, only problem is, all my art memory and stuff is on that computer's hard drive. We still have it, but I have yet to get all my things back. Not to mention this computer doesn't have my GIMP or my Paint.NET and for whatever reason, refuses to download them, or ANYTHING for that matter. And the MS Paint that I love is not the older, simple one I usually used. I have e newer version of Windows so it has a more "advanced" looking Paint program. I don't like it.
So, I haven't been able to draw anything on my comp, so I couldn't post anything here. Sorry for those who love and miss my work. TT ^ TT
I have also been busy with tests.
Remember how I told you about those PSSA tests with Math and Reading?
Well,  took the other ones recently. The Writing and the Science.
Writing was a piece of cake, they gave us three writing assignments, and 2 pages front and back to write on. The first I filled in three, the second I filled in all four, and third three again. =w=
I am a writer, it's my thing.
Science was harder. Some parts were easy, but other parts just racked my brain. O.O
I never really got taught much science, and when they asked me some weird question like, "What would you have to do in order to increase the speed and energy with a cell to make it *blah blah blah blah blah random science battle*"
It was some weird question, not really like what I put up there, but it was hard and the way they worded it was just....ugh, it hurt my brain. So, for most of the test, I just made myself sound smart, like I knew what I was talking about, throw in some big sciencey words and junk. They skimmed my work and saw how much I wrote and said they were proud, I laughed internally, like "Oh, if only you read what was actually on that paper. XD"
Glad most questions were about fossil fuels and the environment. =w= That's more my cup of tea. lol
Well, as you can see, work has also been getting in the way, and there are more tests to come. Like finals and then my SAT test that I have to take in June. TT ^ TT
Then there's my personal drama, it's going a bit better. Still got a few things that need working out.
But yeah, even though I don't have my digital art, I won't leave you guys completely empty handed for today. :3
You see, we've worked with chalk pastels in my art class this past month. It was my first time using them so I assumed I wasn't going to be good. I learned as I colored, and it came out pretty good. It was a self portrait, I actually won a third place award in the Charcoal/Pastel category at the GoggleWorks. That was a first time shot and a won an award. I. AM. BOSS. lol
Well anyway, my teacher told us we would be doing another portrait, we could pick which media we wanted to use, I chose pastels again.
I made another portrait, but it's kinda weird. XD She said we could go all out if we wanted, so I only used my picture as a model for my face and head, but changed everything else to look like this mythical-like elf creature person thing. XD Well, it was put in an Art Show my school hosts every year, I went, looked at other artworks and such. Anyway, I was proud of how this picture of me as an elf came out, and so many people asked who drew it, asked me questions how I did it, said they wanted prints of it. (I felt so special ewe )
So I asked one of my art teachers to take a pic of it and email it to me. So I will be uploading that picture here on DA for you guys to see it. ^^
Anyway, it is night time over here and I gotta be getting some sleep. I'll upload the pic before I go to sleep though. :3
I don't know when I'll be back on, but tomorrow I will try coming on for sure.
Oh and btw, thank you EVERYONE who wished me a happy birthday and month ago, I was so touched. ^/////^
